belated congratulations to new south dakota congresswoman and person most likely to be mistaken for my wife* in ideal lighting, stephanie herseth...

*yeah, i'm crushin' on her...thank god she's a democrat - otherwise, i'd be severely troubled regarding the current proximity of my politics and my libido. the prospect is scary enough as it is. i mean, sure - it starts off innocently enough...crushing on an extremely attractive congresswoman from another state. sure...but it always leads to harder stuff. next thing you know, i'll be waking up in a cold sweat from nightmares starring barbara bush in a leather wife-beater t-shirt, in stocks with ted kennedy standing behind her holding a dewars' bottle in one hand and a cat o'nine tails in the other....
