i have another (anonymous) friend that i can add to the list of the soon-to-be-divorced...old navy buddy that i chat with via AIM every now and again.

apparently, his wife has a loosely-enforced code of silence...she picked a fight with him on his birthday, he tells me...and then asks me to guess how long she didn't talk to him for.

i figure i'll guess high and make him feel better, so i go straight for the absurd...two weeks.

and i simultaneously feel really shitty for my friend and really lucky for being able to do this a different way.
